Customer case: how Vente-Unique industrializes product video with AI

Adding video to thousands of product sheets remains a major challenge in e-commerce.
Slow production, high costs, difficulty maintaining visual consistency.

Vente-Unique, the European leader in online furniture, was looking to solve this problem on a large scale.

👉 Objective: generate credible product videos, quickly, and without relying on a traditional studio workflow.

Why product video is becoming a critical tool

In categories such as home and decoration, the buyer must plan ahead.

Images alone are no longer enough.

The video allows you to:

  • Give a realistic perception of volumes and textures
  • Reducing uncertainty before buying
  • Increase engagement on product sheets

But in practice, few players manage to scale.

The challenge: to produce on a large scale without exploding costs

Vente-Unique had to meet several constraints:

  • High volume : thousands of product references
  • Fast time-to-market
  • Credible visual quality
  • Controlled cost

Traditional approaches (studio shooting, manual editing) did not scale.

“We were looking for a partner to add videos to our product sheets, quickly, in large volumes, without too much costs. The goal was twofold: to help the customer to better project themselves on a furniture product, and to maximize our distribution on acquisition levers by integrating the video component on a large scale into our campaigns. The Dataïads teams, in particular Nina, really sought to satisfy us and did not hesitate to iterate., test different prompts and models, so that the rendering is as natural as possible and satisfying us. We have not yet sufficiently disseminated as well as to the external acquisition levers that we use to really draw conclusions, but this brings a plus in terms of rendering on the product sheets concerned.”
